Question 1

How do I purchase an arrangement?

Accepted Answer

Browse the catalog, add items to your cart, and proceed to checkout. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Once payment is confirmed, you receive download links immediately — no waiting period.

Question 2

What happens after I pay?

Accepted Answer

You receive a confirmation email with a direct download link. The download contains a ZIP file with the full conductor score and all individual instrument parts in PDF format. Downloads are available for 30 days from purchase.

Question 3

Do I need an account to buy?

Accepted Answer

No. You can check out as a guest using just your email address. If you create an account, your order history and downloads are saved for easy access later.

Question 4

What files do I get when I buy an arrangement?

Accepted Answer

Each purchase includes a ZIP file containing the full conductor score (where available) and all individual instrument parts as separate PDF files. The exact number of parts depends on the arrangement and ensemble type.

Question 5

Are parts transposed for each instrument?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each part is written in the correct transposition for the instrument (e.g., Bb for trumpet and tenor sax, Eb for alto and bari sax). Concert-pitch instruments receive concert-pitch parts.

Question 6

What ensemble types are available?

Accepted Answer

The catalog includes arrangements for Big Band (standard 5-4-4-4 instrumentation), Big Band Vocal (big band with vocal lead), Concert Band (wind ensemble), Dixieland (traditional jazz combo), and Small Ensemble (combo, quartet, quintet, etc.).

Question 7

Can I see the instrumentation before I buy?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every arrangement page lists the full instrumentation — all included parts are shown on the detail page before purchase. You can also preview the first three pages of the score.

Question 8

Can I print the parts for my ensemble?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You may print the parts for use by your own ensemble in rehearsal and performance. The license is personal and non-transferable — you may not share the files with other ensembles or directors. See our Terms of Service for full details.

Question 9

Can I use these arrangements for a commercial performance?

Accepted Answer

The standard purchase grants a personal, non-commercial license. Use for commercial purposes or public performance requires a separate license. Contact us at jazzpdf@jazzlib.com for commercial licensing inquiries.

Question 10

Can I share the files with other directors or ensembles?

Accepted Answer

No. Your purchase grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license. You may not redistribute, share, or resell the files. Each director or ensemble needs their own purchase.

Question 11

How can I tell if an arrangement is right for my ensemble?

Accepted Answer

Each arrangement page shows the ensemble type, instrumentation, and a 3-page preview of the score. Review the preview to assess the difficulty level, key signatures, and technical demands before purchasing.

Question 12

What payment methods are accepted?

Accepted Answer

We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Question 13

What currency are prices listed in?

Accepted Answer

All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD). Your bank or card issuer will handle any currency conversion at their prevailing rate.

Question 14

Is VAT or sales tax included?

Accepted Answer

Prices shown are before any applicable taxes. Depending on your location, VAT or sales tax may be added at checkout by Stripe in accordance with local regulations.

Question 15

I lost my download link. How do I get my files again?

Accepted Answer

Use the Resend Downloads page. Enter the email address you used at checkout and we will send you a fresh download link. If you have an account, your downloads are also available in your account page.

Question 16

How long are download links valid?

Accepted Answer

Download links are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. If your link has expired, use the Resend Downloads page to request a new one.
