Robert William “Bob” Lowden (1920–1998) was an American composer, arranger, conductor, music educator, and trombonist from Camden, New Jersey. After military service and studies at Temple University, he taught music and arranged for Claude Thornhill and Oscar Dumont. He later became composer and chief arranger for the 101 Strings Orchestra and produced arrangements for concert, big-band, jazz, and school ensembles.
